The first edition of Tire Pro Fest has been a success with attendance throughout the entire weekend. More than 25,000 people have visited the facilities of the Fairgrounds of the Provincial Council of Salamanca, to enjoy the many and diverse activities planned in the program.
This event, aimed at tyre and motor fans and professionals, has become a national and international benchmark. Preparations for the second edition are already underway.
It was the first festival of its kind to be held in Spain and drivers such as Lorenzo Santolino, Iván Cervantes, Víctor López, Ángel Campos, Marc Solà, Fidel Castillo and Sergio Verdugo participated. All of them have offered spectacle and fun to the thousands of people who have attended their live demonstrations.
The show on wheels has been continuous with activities such as the 4×4 Master Class offered by Masía Pelarda; the speed and acceleration tests by the Spanish rider Víctor López, a runner on the Isle of Man; the Enduro demonstrations by the biker from Salamanca Lorenzo Santolino; the ‘Ahúja Racing’ Buggie Show led by Fidel Castillo and Marc Solá; the motorcycle circuits for minors led by Sergio Verdugo and the electric motorcycle circuit with Velca; or driving experiences with Tesla and Bentley.
The professional conferences on trends in mobility, logistics and innovations in the sector have also gathered maximum interest; at the same time as the exhibition of vehicles and tyres of all ranges. Tire Pro Fest has received Emilio Froján, CEO of Velca, Ricard Guillem, founder of Cafler, Marco Conde, CEO of Motoreto and Mario Vicente, considered one of the main business angels in Spain and investor in different startups in the sector.
In addition, top-level brands from the world of tyres have shown the best of each brand and have presented their new Porsche, Tesla, Bentley, Maserati, Ineos, BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz (Adarsa Dealership) and different collections such as the Salamanca Automotive Museum, the Santa Marta Motorcycle Museum or the Private exhibition of Grupo Andrés classics. Rallies of the Vespa Club Spain and the Porsche Club Spain also took place.
The festival co-organised by Agencia 51, Grupo Andrés and Diputación de Salamanca has had Michelin as its main sponsor, as well as the support of other brands such as General Tire and Astara Retail (Bentley, Masserati and Ineos Grenadier dealership), among others.
