Land Rover has announced the celebration of a day of authentic off-road driving experience at Eastnor Estate and Castle on November 9, 2023. This event, which will be limited to just nine driving positions to guarantee as much time as possible behind the wheel on this adventure, it will offer a carefully selected route made up of 96 km of off-road routes in excellent condition that will cover some of the most emblematic enclaves that are part of the illustrious history of Land Rover in this estate.
Instructors will be specially trained to provide personalized instructions to participants so they can learn about the history of Land Rover and enjoy the vehicles’ unstoppable off-road capabilities, which will make the impossible possible in this adrenaline-filled adventure. The route includes the original route of the Range Rover’s press launch in the 1970s and crosses the famous inaugural Gearbox hill, one of the main hills used by Land Rover for its tests on this estate since 1960.
Our team of experts have selected a range of highly exclusive vehicles from the private Land Rover Classic collection to offer customers the ultimate driving experience. It is a unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of iconic models, from the first Series I and Series IIa, once owned by Land Rover co-founder Spencer Wilks, to the first generation of the Range Rover or the latest Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy Edition.
This one-day event will offer other exclusive details, including lunch in the extraordinary Herefordshire countryside, giveaways and the chance to recreate one of the competition challenges with the original Camel Trophy and G4 vehicles. Afterwards, guests will be able to participate in an exclusive access tour of Classic Works and its private collection. Award-winning photographer Nick Dimbleby, who has spent more than two decades capturing Land Rover models and their automotive expeditions around the world, will be in charge of immortalizing the memories of this day.
