CUPRA collaborates with the EQUAL FEST music festival, organized by Spotify, with the aim of promoting female artists within the music industry. On September 22, and for the first time in Spain, a concert will take place at the Wizink Center in Madrid, which will feature performances by Lola Índigo, Nathy Peluso, Ptazeta, Natalia Lacunza and Judeline.
In 2021, Spotify launched the program called EQUAL, which consists of giving spaces and speakers to women within the music scene, to support and inspire more female artists. This program stands out for the creation of playlists where you can listen to international and local artists, as well as emerging artists. Likewise, EQUAL has also deployed a large marketing campaign to raise awareness and support female singers. Some of the milestones achieved by EQUAL are the 60% increase in reproductions of Spanish female artists since the launch of this program; or the increase by 70% of female artists included in playlists.
Ignasi Casanovas, marketing director of CUPRA Spain, commented: “CUPRA joins the commitment to equality to turn this Spotify program into an opportunity so that, with everyone’s help, we can inspire new generations and promote new talents. . A collaboration that also consolidates CUPRA’s commitment to music.”
Another of EQUAL’s most relevant events will be held on December 12, with a charity gala in which funds will be raised to offer training scholarships for women within the music industry. Without a doubt, a great event that will feature the collaboration of the singer Mala Rodríguez, among other artists.
CUPRA, at the forefront both in its car models and in its values, will have a prominent presence during the EQUAL FEST, with different activations and with the on-track exhibition of the CUPRA Born, the brand’s first 100% electric model. Likewise, CUPRA has carried out an outstanding communication campaign with the collaboration of the artists, both externally and on social networks.
